Where is the check-in?

Our guest check in will take place near the building named Mar Vista within the Pelican Hills Resort.
Directional signs will be provided on the day, but please feel free to ask our staff if you need guidance.

How early should I arrive?

We recommend arriving around 3:25 PM for the 3:30 PM check-in time

Can I wear heels on the lawn?

Accepted Answer

The ceremony will be hosted on a grass area, but there is no issue wearing heels, including pin heels/stilettos.

Question 4

What happens if it rains on the wedding day?

Accepted Answer

The ceremony is planned to be held outdoors. Fortunately, the area enjoys a very dry climate and rain is quite rare. We will proceed as scheduled unless there is severe weather.

Question 5

Will the ceremony and reception be held at the same location? Is there any need to move?

Accepted Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place within The Resort at Pelican Hill, so no additional transportation will be required.

Question 6

Is it okay if I do not fully understand English or Japanese during the ceremony?

Absolutely. The ceremony will be conducted with consideration for both English and Japanese speakers so that everyone can feel comfortable and included.

Will there be Japanese-speaking staff at the venue?

Unfortunately, there will be no Japanese-speaking staff on site.
 However, we will do our best to assist you should you need any help.
